Halifax County now offers Certified Industrial Sites. With these sites, Phase I environmental audits, endangered-protected species surveys, wetlands analyses and delineation, cultural-archeological surveys, preliminary geotechnical analyses and other studies have been completed. These sites have been designated by the State of North Carolina as immediately developable for new business or industry. We can save a prospective company 2 to 3 months of construction time and substantial money by having sites that are "ready-to-build."

Halifax Industrial Center Certified Site
The Halifax Industrial Center Certified site contains 8 acres located one-quarter mile from the intersection of Interstate 95 and NC Highway 903. Water, sewer, electrical and telecom-munications services are available to the site as well as natural gas. Additionally, all site analyses have been completed to ensure a ready-to-build location.

 

HALIFAX AIRPORT CORPORATE PARK
